QRJCC Players Excel at Indoor National Cricket Championships
The Indoor National Cricket Championships were recently held in Casey, Victoria, with Quinns Rocks Junior Cricket Club proudly represented across several Western Australian teams.
The WA Under-14 Boys enjoyed an outstanding tournament, finishing second on the ladder behind an unbeaten Queensland side. They then won a thrilling preliminary final to book their place in the grand final, where they defeated New South Wales to claim the championship shield. Will O'Hare was a standout performer throughout the week, capping off his tournament with selection in the Australian Under-14 Indoor Cricket Team.
Josh O'Hare, Josh Steyn and David Riekert all played key roles for the WA Under-16 Boys, who went through the tournament unbeaten before narrowly falling to Queensland in the grand final.
Cameron Houghton and Ashton Brown represented the WA Under-18 Boys, helping their side to a memorable semi-final victory over the previously unbeaten New South Wales team. Despite a determined performance, they were unable to overcome a strong Queensland outfit in the grand final. Cameron's outstanding tournament was also recognised with selection in the Australian Under-22 Indoor Cricket Team a week before the Under-18 representation.
In the girls' competition, Madison Haefele and Indiana Brown represented the WA Under-14 Girls, both producing impressive performances throughout the championships. Indiana's exceptional performance earned her selection in the Australian All Stars Team, where she was named captain, as well as being awarded Runner-Up Player of the Tournament.
Congratulations to all of our QRJCC players on earning the honour of representing Western Australia. Your commitment, hard work and achievements continue to make our club incredibly proud.

Quinns Rocks Junior Cricket Club is proud to support players as they progress through the cricket pathway and earn selection with Premier Cricket clubs.
This page will be updated throughout the season as our players are selected and begin their Premier Cricket journey.
Registrations are open across all age groups from Cricket Blast to Under-17s. Cricket blast Friday training nights resume the first week of September at Bell Haven Park, Quinns Rocks. For Junior cricket training, contact your coach.
